Wow - what a way to round off the year!
Over the last three months, Wise Platform has announced 4 brand-new partnerships, hosted the second ever ‘Wise Connect’, this time from a beach club in Singapore, and spoke at some of the industry’s biggest events.
Read on to find out more about what we’ve been up to in Q4.
Meet our new partners
Allica Bank
In December, we launched our partnership with Allica Bank to provide UK businesses with a transparent and low-cost way to send money internationally.
Our Wise Platform integration means that Allica customers - established businesses with 10-250 employees in the UK - can complete the whole process of making an international payment quickly and conveniently within their own banking app. Business owners will have full visibility over the total fees their payment costs, and be able to guarantee the exact amount that will be received by their recipient.

Webexpenses
We also partnered with Webexpenses to provide a seamless and efficient expense management solution across multiple currencies. This is a game-changer for businesses seeking to optimise their processes; in collaboration with Wise, Webexpenses is transforming finance teams’ productivity while ensuring they can maintain access to the secure, reliable payments they need.

Agoda
In November, we announced our partnership with global digital travel platform, Agoda, further strengthening our Wise Platform footprint in APAC and revolutionising payments for travellers worldwide.
Reflecting on our partnership, Mai-Linh Bui, Chief Financial Officer at Agoda said: “Today’s travellers seek speed and convenience at every step of their journey, and payments are no exception. With Wise Platform’s expertise in cross-border payments, we are able to offer travellers more flexibility and choice in their payment experience.”

Payhawk
Finally, we partnered with global spend management solution Payhawk to integrate fast, low-cost international payment services directly into the Payhawk platform. Payhawk customers can now more easily reimburse employees and pay suppliers internationally in more than 40 currencies in more than 160 countries.
News of our partnership was widely covered internationally, including by The Paypers, Marketing Insider Review, Finyear, and MSN Canada.
Events
Wise Connect - Singapore
You might remember Wise Connect London, which took place in Q2 earlier this year. In November, we held our second-ever Wise Connect event in Singapore - from a beach club, no less!
The event was attended by over 90 industry professionals from 55 companies and 11 countries across APAC, and we were delighted to welcome speakers from some of the largest financial institutions and enterprises in the region, including our partners Bank Mandiri, DBS Bank.
Key themes throughout the day included the importance of speed and transparency in cross-border payments, how transparency boosts revenue and wins customers’ trust, and what the next decade has in store for payments.
FinTech Connect
In December, Steve Naudé, Managing Director of Wise Platform, was invited to speak on a panel at FinTech Connect in London to speak about Wise’s journey, our growth over the years and the role Wise Platform plays in achieving our mission of Money Without Borders.
